Zip World Fforest

Zip World Fforest offers an idyllic woodland setting for all your adventurous wishes. The heart of the site is the Fforest Coaster - based on the traditional toboggan but running on rails, it offers a year round, all-weather experience for ages 3 and up. There are two high ropes courses; Treehoppers for younger children (5-12 years) and Zip Safari (9 years and up). You can bounce and explore to your hearts content on Tree Top Nets; giant bouncy nets suspended in the trees, or experience the thrill of Skyride, Europe's highest five-seater swing. After all that adventure, why not relax, re fuel and watch the action from one of our two on-site cafes. Open all year round.

Go Below

If you've got an adventurer in the making and you've got the nerve to accompany them, you simply can't do better than Go Below! An amazing subterranean sporting experience that'll take in a series of exciting challenges including elements of abseiling, zip lining, scrambling, traversing, boating and climbing, all deep underground beneath Snowdonia!

Kids 10 years old and over can undertake the Go Below challenge, a 5 hour long and pretty intense experience! You'll be fully guided and looked after as you cross zip lines and traverses, clamber up rock faces and waterfalls, boat across water at high speed and abseil off ledges! This is one experience the kids are never going to forget!

Conwy Valley Railway Museum

Conwy Valley Railway Museum is full of vintage railway information and artefacts but with children in tow it won't be the main act! However kids will enjoy pushing the buttons to make the 5 model railways within the museum run around the track.

A real ride on (rather than model) miniature railway takes you on a 10 minute trip around the beautifully landscaped grounds. If you are lucky you may see wild rabbits grazing, they're usually spotted near the pond. There is even a dark little tunnel for the train to go through which will thrill the smalls! Trains run every day from 10:30 to 16:30.
